I finally got the nerve up to drop my kids at the Giant grocery store 'Kid's Treehouse' play area a few weeks ago.

It was an entirely new experience shopping without the constant back and forth dialogue we usually have about who is hitting who and what snack items we can and cannot purchase and why we won't go to the aisle with the princess stuff.

Well, today I rolled in, jubilant that I had convinced my kids to play there again, and a sign was posted announcing the closure of (almost) all of the treehouse locations as of July 30th. I think Morgantown and one other (too far to justify a drive for us) will remain open.

Too little, too late for me I am afraid.
